How The Open Look Can Work for Your Agency

We recognize that every agency is different with respect to the way it lists open houses and that often times agencies prefer to centrally manage the marketing of open houses. On the other hand, we acknowledge that it is important to give each agent the ability to market themselves as well as the homes they are selling. We have created The Open Look to be a flexible tool that can be used by your organization and by your individual agents/brokers. The information in this page details the features that will assist you in managing the open house listings of your organization.

With respect to marketing open houses The Open Look supports two basic approaches:

Individual Users:
These are users that don't have an affiliation with a central agency or whose agency doesn't want to have any centralized management role in open house listing process.
Features
  • Users can create open house listing, map those listings, add up to 8 photos, and schedule times they will be showing the property.
  • Users can create a business card (which can include, an agent photo, a logo, etc.) that will be attached to each of their listings.
Setup
To set up an individual user account, click here. The registration process is simple. Enter your email address, pick a password, and check that you are A Home Seller/Agent/Broker. Click Register and we will send an email with which you can confirm your account.
Group Users:
This function is for agencies that have some level of centralize some or all of their open house listings, whether at the branch agency level or the central agency level, and have a manager who controls membership of their group and or their listings.
Features
Members of the group have access to the same functionality as individual users, but the manager can:
  1. override corporate branding settings;
  2. reate and modify group's open house listings; and
  3. control membership of the group.
Setup
A group manager account can be created by clicking here and selecting : A Real Estate Agency that Manages the Open Houses of Several Agents (e.g., Broker-in-Charge) as their type of user. The manager can then add group users in one of two ways:
  1. Ask agents to set up their own individual accounts and instruct them to join the group.
  2. Set up individual accounts for each of the group's Agents.
In both cases, the individual member must verify his/her email addresses before the account is activated.
