While we cannot help you financially, we can make your search a little easier. We have centered our site around the open house model. We believe open houses are an easy, low-pressure way for prospective home buyers to get to know the market and to really get to know a house before making a purchasing decision. Our goal is to provide a consolidated open house listing service accessible by everybody for everybody. Along with this service, we have provided some handy tools to assist home buyers in organizing their search, including the ability to create a personalized open house schedule along with a map, that can be printed out and taken along.

We have selected the Triangle area of North Carolina to introduce our service because the housing market is active and a significant number of people are relocating here from other parts of the country. Why a local approach? We believe that real estate is local. No one understands a market as well as the people who live there and sell homes there. You will only find local information here. No distractions.

We have intentionally designed our site so that only homes with upcoming scheduled open houses can be returned via our search tool. We are not a listing service. Our goal is not provide enough information to convince a buyer to buy a house... just enough to entice a prospective buyer to check it out. We leave home sales up to those who do it best — real estate agents or motivated individual sellers. We allow agents and sellers to post links to their own sites which provide further detail about the home for sale.

Exactly. Whether you are selling a home yourself or are an agent representing a seller, it will not cost anything but a small amount of time to list an open house on this site. How do we make our money? We sell ad space to local businesses involved directly or peripherally with homes and home sales in the area. Will we ever charge for open house listings? We may offer enhanced services for featured listings that will be displayed more prominently; however, we will not charge for our generous basic open house listing, which includes the ability to:

• Upload 8 photos
• Modify map placements(crucial for newer developments)
• Provide special driving directions
• Hold an unlimited number of open houses
• Describe the property's significant features
• Customize a "business card," complete with personal photo and logo to be included with each listing
